You indicated that you are not really a "School" which is fine. Keep in mind that our default term for your main facility will be "School," and when you see that, you can just substitute the name of the church, community center, retail store, or online service, as appropriate. The end user will never see the term "School," unless you show it to them.

Usage (emails): If neither a Registration Assistant Name nor a Enrichment Program: Short Name are provided, then this field will be used in email signature blocks.",
Enrichment Program Name (short)
An optional short version of the program's name, like an an abbreviation or familiar version. At one school, it is WEP, which is short for the Waynewood Enrichment Program. It doesn't have to be an abbreviation, and it is ok to leave this blank.
Usage (emails): If a Registration Assistant Name isn't provided, then this field will be used in email signature blocks.
Short Sub-Domain*
Pick a short name for your site for use in your url. Only numbers and letters are allowed - no spaces and no capital letters. This is how people will manually visit your registration page.

For example, a school called Butler Elementary might use 'butler', creating a final url of 'butler.schooltwist.com'.

Arlington Boys and Girls Club might use 'arlingtonbgc', creating a final url of 'arlingtonbgc.schooltwist.com'.

IMPORTANT: This can not be changed - choose wisely!

Tip: Make it short and clear. "arlingtonbgc" is clearer than "abgc" and shorter than "arlingtonboysandgirlsclub."

Power-Ups give your School Twist site extra capabilities. On the next page, you'll be given the option to choose the Power-Ups that appropriate for your situation.

You don't have to enable them now, but this is the easiest & quickest way to configure your site.

Financial Aid Power-Up*

Activating this Power-Up gives you the ability to automatically enable financial aid in your program. You can still set it to off, or enable it as fully automatic or semi automatic.

Enabling this also gives you an extra reporting tool on the Enrollment tabs to see how much aid was offered, and to whom.

Financial Aid → Which method best describes your philosophy?*
- Oversite: Review each request before approving
  Great when you want to review each request, but requires more active reviewing
- Benefit of the doubt: Automatically approved, but you periodically review to catch any misundstandings
  Great when you generally trust your community, and requires the least effort
Instructor Tracking Power-Up*

It can be useful to track instructors in the system.
Vocabulary: We use term "teacher" to refer to the daytime person that works at the school, and "instructor" as the person teaching a class in this system, typically an after-school enrichment class. At some places, the teacher and the instructor are the same set of people. A coach could also serve the same role as instructor.
- Yes - we'll track which instructors are running each class
- No - Instructors are fluid, we'll track them outside of this system,
  or we'll enable this later
Location Power-Up*
Activate this Power-Up when your class is held at a place in real life, as opposed to someplace on the web. This shows the address of your school, plus it will enable some additional capabilities that are only relevant to when meeting in real life.
Enabling the Power-Up also unlocks the following Power-Ups
1. Teacher Tracking: Collect homeroom teachers information and enable a report for each teacher to show who goes where, and when they go.
2. Rooms: Record and display the room where each event is held.

Location → Homeroom Teacher Tracking Power-Up*

If there are teachers, we will ask you their names so that we can ask who the student's teacher is during their registration.
- Yes - There are homeroom teachers, or the equivalent.
- No - No - There are not daytime teachers, or we are not interested in tracking them.
Location → Extended Care*

Many locations, especially schools and community facilities, have the concept of Extended Care, sometimes called "After-Care" or "Day Care". Enable this Power-Up if some of the students attending your class might also go to the Extended Care program.
- Yes - There are homeroom teachers, or the equivalent.
- No - No - There are not daytime teachers, or we are not interested in tracking them.
Extended Care → What is it called?*
Extended care is a generic term for onsite after-school care for students.
Your school probably calls it something more specific, like After-Care, or Waynewood Extended Day.
Extended Care → When do students check in?*
- Check-In at Extended Care before going to the the class (Very Common):
- Go Straight to the class: Students should go directly to classes without first going to extended care.

What to Expected
Once you hit Submit, a new registration site will be created for you. It has some demo content and you can immediately register for a demo class.
Next Steps
After you hit Submit you should do the following:
1. Log in on the next page
2. This is sophisticated software, so we're here to help. After you log in, look for the "Schedule Time with Me" button, to get a 15 minute walk through and to get help with completing your configuration. We're here to help. Optionally, send us email at 'assist@schooltwist.org'
3. Look for the Visit Site link at the top of the page. Go there. Visit the site as if you were a parent and try registering for one of the test classes.
  Pro Tip: Classes that start with the word "Demo" in their title are automatically limited to test credit cards.
4. Look for an email from us that has some suggested things to try while you are waiting for the 1-on-1 discussion. But feel free to play around, too. You can't hurt anything here.
